盲行者
以步为履，以心为眼，以画为行。
曹晟康，中国首位盲人环球旅行家。八岁一场车祸，让他骤然失去光明。他曾亲眼见过世间天光、山河万象，也曾坠入无边黑暗、四顾茫茫。他的人生，完整历经三重生命境界：少时见山是山，肉眼尽览人间风物；失明见山不是山，光明落幕、世事颠覆；行路半生，终得见山还是山，心藏山海，处处澄明。
命运收回他眼中的世界，却从未禁锢他前行的脚步。数十年间，曹晟康仅凭一根盲杖，孤身行走六大洲、四十余国，穿山、入城、逐浪、履原。当视觉彻底退场，他以脚步丈量大地，以触觉分辨边界，以记忆储存山河，在黑暗中，重新构建了属于自己的辽阔世界。

我与曹晟康老师的结缘，始于脱不花《长谈》节目。在一场长达两个半小时的深度对谈中，我完整讲述了自己2018年人生至暗、破壁重生，于废墟中以艺术自愈、以创作新生的历程。节目播出后，曹晟康老师经由友人找到我。
他告诉我，听完我的涅槃故事，他深深共鸣：身处绝境之人，皆渴望以自我的方式，照亮生命、安放自我。他行走天下半生，心中沉淀了无数无人得见的旷野、风浪与长路，始终在心底涌动生长。他渴望拿起创作，把自己黑暗之中看见的世界，落笔留存、告白人间。
我被这份纯粹而磅礴的生命力量深深打动。

我向他提议：放下常规画笔，以手指为笔，以触摸为观，以肌理成像。肉眼所见皆是表象，指尖所触方为真实，心念所现方为永恒。
此后，曹老师驻留我的画室，沉心沉浸、日夜创作，整整完成七十幅完整作品。每一幅，皆无视觉参照、无画面范本，全然源自记忆、感知与心念，是黑暗里生长出的山河，是独行路上沉淀的信仰。
由此，我为本次展览定名——《盲行者》。

本次展览精选「行者系列」四大主题：《向山而行》《穿城而过》《逐浪而生》《履原而远》，集结七十幅架上绘画、行走影像与旅途档案。展品不再复刻世俗眼中的风景，完整呈现一位盲行者，经由身体感知、心念沉淀而生的纯粹生命图景。
旅途的颠簸、独行的辽阔、旷野的寂静、奔赴的炽热，皆落于指尖肌理、凝于纯粹色彩，化作温柔而坚韧的治愈力量，抚慰人心困顿，安放众生迷茫。
曹晟康老师有言：
“我看不见世界，但我想让世界看见我。”
真正的看见，从不依靠双眼。
看见，是执念的突破、是边界的超越、是黑暗中不灭的向往。
这是一场盲行者的生命告白，
以行走破局限，以艺术渡人心。
愿观者于此，见山海、见赤诚、见自我，
于有限人生中，活出无限光明。
The Blind Wanderer
Walking with feet, seeing with heart, creating through art.
Cao Shengkang is China’s first blind globetrotter. At the age of eight, a car accident suddenly robbed him of his sight. He once beheld the light of the world and all its mountains and rivers, yet later fell into boundless darkness, adrift with nothing to behold. His life embodies three profound states of being: in childhood, he saw mountains as mountains, witnessing the world with his physical eyes; after losing his sight, mountains were no longer mountains, as light faded and reality was overturned; after decades of journeying, he finally came to see mountains as mountains once more, holding mountains and seas within his heart, and clarity abides everywhere.
Fate took away the world before his eyes, yet it never chained his steps forward. For decades, armed only with a white cane, Cao Shengkang has travelled alone across six continents and more than forty countries, crossing mountains, wandering through cities, chasing waves, and traversing vast plains. With vision entirely gone, he measures the earth with his footsteps, discerns boundaries through touch, and stores mountains and rivers in his memory. In the darkness, he has rebuilt a vast world of his own.
My connection with Mr. Cao Shengkang began with the podcast Long Conversation hosted by Tuo Buhua. During a twoandahalfhour indepth dialogue, I shared my full journey: hitting rockbottom in 2018, breaking through despair to rebuild myself, healing myself through art and being reborn through creation amid ruin. After the programme aired, Mr. Cao reached out to me through a mutual friend.
He told me that my story of rebirth resonated deeply with him. Those trapped in despair all yearn to illuminate their lives and find their place in their own way. Having roamed the world for half his life, he carries countless untold wildernesses, storms and long journeys deep within his heart, forever stirring and growing. He longed to create, to put onto canvas the world he perceives in darkness, to preserve it and bear witness to humanity.
I was profoundly moved by this pure and tremendous lifeforce.
I proposed to him: set aside conventional brushes. Let your fingers be your tools, touch be your vision, and texture become your imagery. What the fingertips feel is reality, and what the mind conceives is eternal.
Afterwards, Mr. Cao stayed in my studio, immersing himself day and night in creation, and completed seventy full artworks. None of these pieces draw on visual references or existing models. They spring entirely from memory, sensation and inner vision — mountains and rivers born from darkness, and faith forged along solitary paths.
Thus I named this exhibition — The Blind Wanderer.
This exhibition curates four themes from the Wanderer Series: Towards the Mountains, Passing Through Cities, Born Chasing Waves, Journeying Across Plains. It brings together seventy paintings, travel footage and journey archives. The exhibits do not replicate landscapes as seen by ordinary eyes. Instead, they fully present the pure lifeworld of a blind wanderer, shaped by bodily perception and inner reflection.
The hardships of travel, the vastness of solitude, the stillness of wilderness, and the burning passion of pursuit are all captured in fingerformed textures and pure hues. They turn into gentle yet resilient healing power, comforting human anguish and soothing universal confusion.
Mr. Cao Shengkang says:
“I cannot see the world, but I wish the world could see me.”
True seeing never relies on physical eyes.
To see is to break through obsessions, to transcend boundaries, and to hold fast to unextinguished longing in darkness.
This is a life testimony of a blind wanderer:
breaking limits through walking, healing souls through art.
May visitors here behold mountains and seas, sincere hearts, and their true selves,
and live boundless light within a finite life.

八岁遭遇意外车祸，十四年独行七大洲，足迹遍布45国。曹晟康，中国首位盲人环球旅行家，全球首位无助理登顶乞力马扎罗的盲人，被誉为当代徐霞客，也是短跑及多项运动健将。不懂英语、不带翻译，老挝受困、泰国遇险、印度车祸、智利遭遇野犬袭击，一次次险境，靠坚韧意志与陌生人善意一路前行。
他是多地文旅推介官、软技能培训教练，创办知识黑暗挑战特训营，走进校内外开展上千场线下分享，十余万人从中获得激励，还多次和俞敏洪、樊登等大咖直播联动。著有《让世界看见我》《不和世界讲道理》，新作《看见我 启发你》获俞敏洪、陈行甲倾力推荐，全网上线，事迹被国内外媒体报道，纪录片《盲行者》记录他的非凡历程。
9月16日下午，兼具旅行家与创作者身份的曹晟康，带来中国首位盲人旅行家首次手指丙烯油画展，把路上的见闻与心底的坚韧落于画布。重走丝绸之路，让坚韧被看见。看见我，启发你。彼此被看见，一起发光。
At the age of eight, Cao Shengkang was in a devastating car accident. Over the following fourteen years, he travelled solo across seven continents, setting foot in 45 countries. He is China’s first blind global traveller and the world’s first blind person to summit Mount Kilimanjaro without an assistant. Hailed as the modern Xu Xiake, he is also an accomplished sprinter and athlete in multiple sports.He speaks no English and travels without an interpreter. His journey has been fraught with dangers: stranded in Laos, caught in peril in Thailand, injured in a car crash in India, and attacked by wild dogs in Chile. Time and again, he pressed forward through hardship, sustained by his unyielding will and kindness from strangers.
Cao serves as a cultural tourism ambassador for multiple regions and a soft-skills trainer. He founded the Dark Challenge Bootcamp, delivering over a thousand offline sharing sessions at schools and public venues that have inspired more than 100,000 people. He has also joined live-stream collaborations with prominent figures including Yu Minhong and Fan Deng.He is the author of Let the World See Me and Don’t Argue with the World. His new book See Me, Inspire You, endorsed strongly by Yu Minhong and Chen Xingjia, is now available online. His story has been covered by media outlets at home and abroad, and the documentary The Blind Wanderer chronicles his extraordinary journey.
On the afternoon of September 16th, Cao Shengkang, traveller and creator, will present the first finger acrylic painting exhibition by China’s first blind traveller. He translates sights from his journeys and inner resilience onto canvas. Retracing the Silk Road, he lets perseverance be seen. See me, inspire you. See one another, and shine together.
